Minneapolis Aquatennial
Happening today and tomorrow! Celebrate the “Best Days of Summer” with four full days of fun, including a Torchlight Parade and 5k, a Tennis Classic, a Candid Canines Film Fest on Target Field, and the final closing event—Target Fireworks over the river, rated one of the Top 5 national fireworks displays!
Summer X Games
Also happening now at US Bank Stadium, the top action sports competition in the world! Today through Sunday, catch some of 
the top competitions in Skateboard BMX, and Moto—plus enjoy beer and wine, gourmet food, athlete meet & greets, and top performers like Kaskade, Ice Cube, Brother Ali, and Zedd.
Mill City Farmers Market
Shop local every Saturday throughout the summer season! Head to 704 South Street from 8 to 1 to enjoy the goods and produce of over 60 local farmers, food makers, and artisans. There’s also live music, an Art Market, and plenty of breakfast and lunch prepared foods!
Music & Movies in the Park
Over 30 parks throughout the city partake in this spectacular series of events that runs Memorial Day through Labor Day. Head 
to your favorite local park to enjoy a laid-back concert or an after-dark movie… just about every day of the week!
Twin Cities Carifest
Join your neighbors in a celebration of Caribbean culture that includes a masquerade parade, music and performances, and tons of Caribbean food! Next Friday and Saturday, July 27 and 28, head to West River Road n & 17th Ave N from 11am through 10pm for two full days of fun and entertainment.
Loring Park Art Festival
Next weekend, July 28 and 29, admire the works of over 140 different local artisans and vendors at Loring Park. Explore a huge variety of media, including oil and watercolor paintings, handmade paper, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, glass, jewelry, and more. Plus, there will be plenty of food, live music, and unique entertainment.
Sociable Summer: Market Fest
Want to know what local brewers are stirring up? Head to Sociable Cider Works on August 11 (and again on September 8) for the Minneapolis Craft Market, where you can sample the works of a unique lineup of makers. Sip and shop—dog and kid-friendly, too!
Minnesota Renaissance Festival
One of the premier events of the state! The Renaissance Festival runs from August 18 through the month of September (weekends only) and features 16 stages of live entertainment, over 250 artisans, and hundreds of 16th century characters. There are live performances, jousting tournaments, authentic foods, and much, much more.
Minnesota State Fair
There’s something for everyone to love at this showcase of the state’s finest agriculture, art, and industry. Rides, fair food, animals, live music and entertainment… what’s not to love about the “Great Minnesota Get-Together”? Don’t miss out on this once-a-year event running from August 23 through September 3.
